This series of presentations and speakers features such media literacy experts as Kathleen Tyner, University of Texas at Austin; Stuart Ewen, City University of New York; Douglas Rushkoff, Media Analyst, Documentary Writer, Author; Henry Jenkins, Director of MIT's Comparative Media Studies Program; Roberto Aparici, University Carlos III, Spain.
The event explores a number of important topics, including: New Literacies in a Digital World; Videogames in Education; Early Childhood and Television. There are a number of special screenings as part of the event as well.
