Media Part 1: Spring 2022

Program Length: 10 weeks (April 28, 2022 – June 30, 2022); 2 hours synchronous per week, Thursday evenings; 125 hours of work
Format: Online – asynchronous and synchronous (Eastern Time)
Class Size: Under 30 learners
Course Duration: 2 months

Registration Policies

Prerequisites for enrolment in AQ Media Part 1 

Must be a K-12 teacher.

Payment

$685 CAD. Payment online by credit card or e-transfer.

Registration Deadline 

April 27, 2022. We recommend registering early as class size is limited to 30 learners.

Attendance

Attendance is mandatory. If you miss more than 10% of the course, you will have missed too much to be able to make up the material. If an emergency arises that affects your attendance of the program, please inform the instructor(s) as soon as possible.

Course Completion

The course operates on a “Pass/Fail” basis.

OCT members: Upon successful completion of attendance, discussion, and task requirements, a recommendation for a Certificate of Qualification will be sent to the Ontario College of Teachers.

Non-OCT members will receive an AML certificate upon successful completion of attendance, discussion, and task requirements.

Course Cancellation

All courses are subject to sufficient registration. AML reserves the right to cancel if minimum registration is not achieved. A full refund will be issued in the event of a cancellation.
