Shakespeare as Media by Stuart Nash

In Elementary, Essential Frameworks, Lessons and Ideas, media literacy, Resources, Secondary

We are pleased to present a new lesson experience in integrating media literacy with Shakespeare study from Stuart Nash, graduate of our Part 1 Spring ’25 AQ. Stuart outlines the challenges and successes of creating a student experience that deepens understanding of Elizabethan theatre and demonstrates how ‘content follows form’—how the medium shapes the message and its meaning.
