From Chelsea Attwell and AQ grad Lori De Angelis, this lesson introduces kindergarten students to AI through play and creativity. Children invent imaginary animals, then use descriptive language to generate AI images, comparing and refining the results. The approach integrates early literacy, critical media literacy and AI understanding, emphasizing that children are the “I” in AI—their ideas, choices and creativity drive the process.
