This infographic provides convincing evidence why media literacy is the single most important skill to understand and succeed in our current mediated environments.

As you explore it, ask yourself:

What do I and/or my students/children know about the codes and conventions, user agreements, and ethics of using these services?”

What do we need to know to use these effectively personally, professionally and civilly (as citizens)?

Who can we ask for help in learning how to use these effectively personally, professionally and civilly?

(These questions can apply across the curriculum from Elementary and Secondary).
